Position: Sales Analyst Location: Toronto, Ontario
Reports To: President, CEO
Position Summary:
The Sales Analyst collects and analyzes sales data, identifying past and future business trends to maintain and improve sales according to current economic conditions. It is their responsibility to collaborate with management and create sales metrics and plans of action to keep Technovate on a successful sales path. The Sales Analyst must guide key stakeholders with their intelligent insights using detailed reports and presentations to influence sales decisions. He/She is expected to have strong analytical skills and be in constant communication with management.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze sales data in order to increase sales and productivity
- Conduct reports based on sales data, evaluating past performance and detecting possible future trends.
- Communicate and report operational analyses with in depth findings to management and suggest recommendations to influence sales decision making
- Suggest ways to minimize underperformance in selected departments to boost productivity
- Develop reporting structure to identify costs of various size and scope and identify a baseline for action
- Assist management with the creation of sales metrics to track sales records and reach monthly sales goals
- Assist management with the evaluation, creation, and implementation of the sales budget and rolling sales forecast
- Analyze request for proposals and collaborate with project coordinator and sales manager to prepare a schedule for bidding
- Maintain current and future data to provide accurate sales forecasts. Ensure current and future software is kept up to date and functioning properly
